From the Mind of Me

Ok who has one and who would like to keep in touch with me, since you see how often I'm posting on here.  what this is the first time in a couple of months.

so yeah i'm alive, had a cold last week, beat it back with a lot of vitamin-c, chirstmas is in full swing at both stores and I swear I'm going to loose my mind.  Now the little chunk of bad news, I won't be able to spend thanksgiving with my family, I only have the day off and I may draw the short straw and work at the dollar store. 

still around, still kicking, think i'm back in a slump though...

and a nice big cup of it as well.  hopefully this gets me through a dull day at the dollar store.  Been a long week, just running around, going home, picking stuff up downstate, locking myself out (again) and needing to get out to do some fun.    I am still battling the blues a little bit, also said something to my former gf and didn't get a response to it...  slightly regretting it, wonder why I put myself through the wringer...

On a different note I love my CCW.  :D

When I go walking through the doors today at the hardware store I mark a small mile stone.  Three years.  been there that long and haven't been fired yet.  :D   ok i'm an overworked idiot, my aniversay was friday.  I did get my review today, got a pay raise for the year.

other than that, i've been suffering silently, lonely, run down from working two jobs (i know most people tell me its my fault), heat exhuastion at the dollar store (if you want to call it that, no bloody ac at the moment) gahh just run down and still going.

and that's about all I can say...  I've been mildly depressed for lack of a better term.  Workin two jobs, trying to occupie myself as much as possible.  trying to get myself out there in the dating scene again, though I don't know how well its working...  then again I did strike it off with an ex-girlfriend, unfortunately she's all the way in seattle and I'm not moving all the way out there on a whim and a wish.

not much else going, on...  did something brash and out there for me, added a few more holes to my head.  I got my ear pierced again, not just once but thrice, I'm up to three piercings in my left ear.  man do they itch, not mention the occasional ache when i catch a shirt collar on them.

yeah, got a new manager at the dollar store, don't know what to think of him, or if i want to continue staying there, being short staffed and stuff and well... lets just say all said and done its a 65 hour work week.  damn near that last week, and that again next week.

this song got me thinking about a lot of things, and a couple of people and one important one...

its stuck in my head, time to share.  on a side note, lemming i consider it revenge for the numa-numa song or whatever it was from a month and a half ago, that was stuck in my head for day and a half or so...  :P

well i'm just about moved out and i'm trying to figure out what to take from the kitchen, i know what appliances and stuff is mine, but its more some of the food stuff that's hard... 

the uber bottle of vanilla is definetly coming with me and so is the stuff from the wicked gourmet.

maybe i'll hash it over tomorrow night....

well I got a new band to listen to Battlelore, their genere well that depends on who you ask, i've heard black symphonic metal, epic fantasy metal/rock, battle rock/metal and I'm sure there are other names as well.  who comes up with these names?  is it the record companies?  or is it the bands themselves?  whatever I like the music, yet another band inspired by Lord of the Rings and Tolkien's writing.

well the laptop goes back for repairs, thankfully HP caused the problems and will hopefully repair the laptop.  I know its under the service warranty.  so cross your fingers other wise, I'm trading this thing in...

Icequeen that's what I'm going to call the little stuck b-tch at mcdonalds.  she never smiles, never says hello, has a perpetual scowl on her face and yesterday was the worse by far...  she skipped over taking my order dispite the fact i was standing there with wallet in hand.  I went back to complain to her (yes to her, shes a freakin' manager there) and was pretty much told it was my fault because i didn't say anything.  since when is the customer suppose to say he's not done??  isn't the counter person suppose to ask 'is that all?'  I've been asked that before, hell i ask that at my store.

for the record i can't complain to any of the other managers there, they're either below her or related to her.  in the form of brother-in-law and sister.  so i get to make a little phone call today to hopefully a district manger and hopefully heads will roll.  if not well, I'm fully prepare to stage a little boycott, park my truck across from their entrance with a sign...  I know that maybe extreme but I was seriously pissed off yesterday, shaking, tears in my eyes

all for a $1.85 cup of hot chocolate that they didn't even have a cup for.

Well this is rather shocking to me, but when I stepped on the scales the other day and they read 265, I was very excited.  I guess all of my hard work is paying off.  Since I had been upwards of 288 and at one point I think I had hit 295 or so.

The only downside is that I'm cold.
